This page is to let those of you know what is going on in Stephanie's life right now! The picture in the ad was taken when Stephanie was a rambunctious 18 month old girl. The picture was taken at the end of a very grueling photo session where she did not want to be in the picture whatsoever. The shot was a single still, no back up, no options. The original idea of the photo was to place Stephanie in a 5 gallon bucket with a tool carrier on it full of tools. Stephanie was to hold a plastic pipe wrench towards the camera with the picture being taken from nearly straight up. I thought of this after seeing an advertisement for a dentist in a Pacific Bell phone book distributed in Texas where a little boy had a toothbrush in his hand pointed at the camera, it was very cute. Things didn't work quite out the way I had planned, the result was the picture that is today in over 1 million phone books, the internet and on television. It seems that her stubbornness has some benefits. She is still a very good kid that is loved very much by her family and friends.

Grade:    First

Stephanie is doing quite well in school. Her reading skills were just tested and she reads at a rate past 2nd grade level. Her teacher says that she will soon be tested for 3rd grade level reading. We expect her to excel. She really likes her teacher, school and all the friends that she has made.
